PKM tools revolve around the idea of note taking/making coupled with links/backlinks to organize information into a searchable memory.
This talk argues that PKMs are too limited, looking inward, focusing on manually-created notes rather than building an as-large-as-possible knowledge historical graph.
We propose a new era of PKMs centered around automatic data retrieval, structured content and programmable data manipulation.
knowledge management is not about data/information-hoarding -- which can be easily automated & does not entail human value
